Bettiah Railway Judicial Magistrate Sriram Jha held Navin Kumar, Uday Narayan Singh and Uday Prasad Choudhary guilty of looting passengers.
On August 27, 2012, the three constables, who were part of an escort party on the train, had forcibly taken money from a traveller after beating him up for failing to provide identity card, Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) Balkrishna Dubey said.
The escort party forcibly took money and misbehaved with another passenger, he added.
An FIR was filed at the Narkatiyaganj rail police station in this regard.
