33 Bangladeshis picked up in AP

As many as 33 Bangladeshi nationals, including 10 women and 11 children, were picked up from a passenger train at Renigunta town in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh for allegedly entering India without passports and valid documents, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, the Government Railway Police (GRP) found the Bangladeshis travelling in a bogie of a train proceeding to Yeshwantpur from Howarh at around 11.30 PM last night, Renigunta GRP Inspector T Madhu told PTI over phone.
"They seem to be labourers working in Bangalore. None of them were having passports nor any valid ID card. During questioning they revealed that they used to frequently travel to Bangalore where they had been working since past five years," Madhu said, adding that all of them were handed over to Renigunta town (L&O) Police.

A police official attached to Renigunta town station said that no one has been arrested so far and they were in the process of booking a case in this regard.
"The 33 Bangladeshi nationals including 10 women and 11 children are in our possession," the police officer said.
