35-yr-old trader shot dead

A 35-year-old trader was shot dead by two bike-borne assailants in Bamnauli village here this morning, police said.
The incident took place when Jitendra alias Bhura was opening his general merchant shop located in front of his house when the assailants arrived and opened fire at him, Station Incharge of Doghat Police Station, Omvir Singh said.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead, Singh said, adding a case has been registered and investigations were on.
