A total of 42 persons, including final year B Com students, both boys and girls, of Attingal Government College in Thiruvananthapuram district were on their way back from a tour to Mysuru when the mishap occurred at Padanilamat around 4.00 AM, police said.
Two girl students who sustained serious head injuries were admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital here while the others were discharged after treatment for minor injuries.
