Patel today visited Nadiad to inaugurate Taluka Seva Sadan building. She arrived by a helicopter early afternoon, said Kheda superintendent of police Sachin Badshah.
After her helicopter landed on a temporary helipad near the exit point for Nadiad on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway, Patel proceeded to the venue by road.
According to police, a white Swift car coming from Ahmedabad suddenly drove towards the helicopter instead of taking the exit road for Nadiad. The police stopped the car.
"We released them as no other motive was found behind their act," said Badshah.
