4 killed as bus hits autorickshaw in Ujjain

Four persons were today killed after their autorickshaw was allegedly knocked down by a private bus in Nandkheda here, police said.
The mishap took place in the morning when the speeding private chartered bus, which was going to Indore from Ujjain, knocked down an auto-rickshaw at a turn near Triveni bridge under Nandkheda police station here, Nandkheda police station in-charge Inspector Vivek Singh Kanodia.
"Three persons died on the spot while one succumbed to injuried at a district hospital," he said.
The deceased were yet to be identified, they said.
The bus driver fled from the spot after the accident and efforts are on to nab him, he said adding that police is investigaitng the matter.
