Two moderate tremors were recorded this afternoon, one in Lalitpur district, 7 km east of Kathmandu, at 2.45 pm, according to the National Seismological Centre.
The second one having 4.2-magnitude was recorded at 6.02 pm with its epicenter in Dolakha district.
Meanwhile, three mild aftershocks were felt within three hours in different areas yesterday.
