5 CPM workers injured in clash with TMC

Five CPM activists were injured following a clash with TMC supporters during a party meeting here, police said.
The incident happened today in the afternoon when TMC workers gheraoed CPM's office here during the party's agrarian front meeting, they said.
CPM alleged that TMC workers had beaten up their supporters gathered at the party office for the meeting and had hurled bombs at the spot, police said.
A spontaneous response from police helped them keeping situation under check.
However, none of the two parties lodged any complaint in this connection.
