Five panchayat secretaries under Adawal development block have been suspended with immediate effect after irregularities were found in various construction works in their concerned villages, said Bastar Collector Amit Katariya.
During a block-level review meeting today, the matter came to light that the quality in construction work was not being maintained at Bilauri, Ghaniyaloor, Dalnar, Chote Kapali and Sargipal village panchayats following which the action was taken against them, Katariya said.
