5 kg Charas recovered, one arrested

A man has been arrested and five kg of charas worth Rs 1 lakh in the international market was seized from him, police said here today.
Kishore Bharti alias Giri was arrested yesterday.
On interrogation the accused told the police that he used to smuggle the consignments from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, along with other men and sold it here.
A search has been initiated to nab the other accused, police added.
