52-year-old tea estate worker killed by bison

A 52-year-old man was gored to death by a bison in a tea estate near Valparai in the district, police said.
As the workers were engaged in plucking tea leaves at Aiyarpadi estate, a bison (Indian Gaur) strayed into the estate and attacked a worker, police said.
He succumbed to his injuries at a hospital here, they added.
