Acting on a tip off, police last night conducted a raid and arrested six persons, a police spokesperson said, adding that Rs 2,24,900 have been recovered from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Lekhraj, Santram, Dnyaniram, residents of Delhi, and Premchand, Sitaram and Gopal Das, residents of Faridabad, he said.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Public Gambling Act 1987 against them.
