6 killed, 45 injured in two separate mishaps in MP

Six persons, including a minor, of a marriage party were today killed and 25 others got injured in a road accident near Ghansour while in a separate mishap 20 persons sustained injuries near Kindarai this afternoon, police said.
The first mishap took place when a truck carrying a marriage party to Mandla from Ghansour was hit by a goods carrier killing six persons and causing injuries to 25 others, Ghansour police station in-charge, K S Maravi said.
The victims were identified as Manoj Dond (25), Subhash Gond (29), Narayan Gond (25), Yashwant Gond (18) Komal Yadav (50) and Sandeep Gond (14), Maravi said.

The injured were admitted in hospitals at Ghansour and Jabalpur, he added.
Besides this, another mishap occurred when a bus carrying a wedding party overturned near Gorakhpur village near Kindarai in which 20 persons were injured, Kindarai Police Station in-charge, Nandlal Dhurve said.
According to police, the bus was returning to Udaipur from Chamrah village and the injured are undergoing treatment at Ghansour hospital.
