6-year-old drowns in river

A six-year-old boy today drowned in Jia Bhorali river at Singitoli here, officials said.
Jakarul Islam was playing near the river, and suddenly lost balance and fell into it, Sonitpur Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar Deka said.
The boy has not yet been traced and search operation is underway, Deka said.
