60-year-old woman dies of swine flu in Coimbatore

In the third swine flu death in the city since January, a 60-year-old woman today succumbed to the H1N1 influenza at the Government Hospital here.
Saraswati, wife of Ramaswamy of Thudiyalur, was under treatment at a private hospital with symptoms of swine flu and was admitted to the Government Hospital last night, hospital officials said.
Without responding to treatment, she died today, they said.
A 39-year-old woman succumbed to swine flu on Sunday last while the first fatality was reported in January.
