65-year-old woman injured after leopard attack

A 65-year-old woman was seriously injured when a leopard attacked her in Augustmuni area of Rudraprayag district here, forest officials said today.
The incident occurred when Kalpeshwari Devi (65) was sitting in her veranda yesterday when the Leopard attacked her in Singhata village of Augustmuni area, they added.
As she shouted for help, family members rushed to the spot to rescue her, they said adding that she was badly injured in attack.
She was shifted to hospital and is undergoing treatment, officials said.
