were injured today following a clash between two factions over a long-standing land dispute in Kajala locality of ward-21 under Kendrapara municipality jurisdiction.
All the injured persons are undergoing treatment at district headquarters hospital. All of them are stated to be out of danger, police said.
Armed police are deployed at the village to avert possible breach of law and order.
There was exchange of words between both the groups. Later it took the form of pitched battle that left 7 persons from both the groups injured in the process, they said.
A case has been registered in this connection; police said adding that those who engineered the clash would be arrested soon.
