They were nabbed on the basis of a tip off that a gang was involved in leaking question papers and providing solution to examinees through electronic device after charging hefty amount, a police spokesman said here.
There was specific information that the gang would provide answers to examinees appearing in RPF recruitment examination for the post of constable today through unfair means.
The STF swung into action and arrested Kuldeep, Rahul, Sandeep, Vinit and Abrar from Budhana in Muzaffarnagar, he said.
The STF team recovered a question paper, OMR sheet, admit card and other items from the arrested accused.
During interrogation the accused disclosed that a person running a coaching centre in Meerut was running the gang and had carried out the act of cheating in RPF examinations held on June 16 and June 23.
