She was rushed to hospital in an ambulance, District Collector Laxminarayan Soni told PTI over phone.
Sunita, daughter of a farmer, fell into the open borewell at around 9 am yesterday when she went to have a look at it in their neighbours farm.
"She was rescued at about 3 pm today. She is hale and hearty in first appearance", the collector said.
A team comprising of Army jawans and NDRF personnel carried out the recuse operation.
The collector said the digging process was little slow because of rocky area but "we all recovered her safely".
A number of JCB machines were put in action to remove sand and mud as a precaution to save the girl child, officials said.
Meanwhile, a five-year-old girl in Patna's Phulwarisharif area died today after being entrapped into a 15-Feet deep borewell for nearly four hours.
