9 per cent voting till 10 AM in Bandra (East) bypoll

A voter turnout of nine per cent has been registered till 10 AM in Bandra (East) Assembly by-election in suburban Mumbai, while six per cent has been registered in Tasgaon Kavthe-Mahankal constituency in Sangli district.
While Congress' Narayan Rane is taking on Shiv Sena nominee Trupti Sawant in prestigious Bandra (East) seat, Suman Patil of NCP is in the fray from Tasgaon Kavthe-Mahankal segment, which was represented by her husband and NCP stalwart R R Patil till his death in February.
Counting of votes will be done on April 15.
