Acting on a tip-off, the Lokayukta police caught gynaecologist Surekha Jain who is posted at Dhamnod Community Health Centre, about 100 km from here, for accepting Rs 2,000 from Suresh Chouhan at her official residence, Lokayukta sources said.
Earlier, she had demanded a bribe of Rs 5,000 through the nurse Sarla for conducting a delivery procedure, but settled for Rs 2,000 later.
However, Chouhan informed Lokayukta officials about it after which which she was caught red-handed.
