Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd Wednesday said Aarvee Associates has been awarded the work for preparation of a Detailed Project Report for the proposed Elevated Bus Rapid Transit System (EBRTS) project here.
Based on the combined technical and financial score, M/s Aarvee Associates was awarded the work for preparation of DPR at its quoted rate of Rs 106 lakh (Rs 1.06 crore), Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd (HAML) MD NVS Reddy said in a release.
The RFP for selecting a consultant for DPR for the EBRTS corridor from Kukatpally to Financial District in Gachibowli here (expected to cover a stretch of about 20 km) was floated recently by the HAML.
"Two firms namely M/s RITES, a PSU of Indian Railways and M/s Aarvee Associates participated in the tenders Request for Proposal (RFP) called by HAML for preparation of DPR for EBRTS project.
After technical evaluation, both firms were found qualified and their financial bids were opened Wednesday," the release said.
While M/s Aarvee Associates quoted Rs 106 lakh, M/s RITES quoted Rs 129 lakh for preparation of DPR, it said.
Aarvee Associates has to submit the DPR for the project within three months, which includes alignment fixation, location of stations, traffic studies and ridership estimation, soil investigation, social and environmental impact assessment, financial model etc., Reddy added.
The proposed bus transit systemwill be executed by the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited and HAML.
