Titled 'Hera Pheri 3', the comedy will be written and directed by Neeraj Vora, who helmed the second film 'Phir Hera Pheri'.
While Paresh Rawal will reprise his role as the hilarious Baburao Apte and Suneil Shetty will return as Ghanshyam, Akshay Kumar will be missing from the third film, which will star Abhishek and John.
"It truly is a special year for us as the occasion marks the 60th anniversary of my father Shri A A Nadiadwala, and grand father Late Shri AK Nadiadwala's company in the Hindi film industry. We are happy to announce 'Hera Pheri 3' which promises to be bigger and funnier than the original," Firoz said in a statement.
"With an all new starcast and original script we are confident 'Hera Pheri 3' will appeal to both the classes and the masses and will be the biggest installment of the series so far," Vora added.
