Absconder booked in rape case arrested after 14 yrs in J-K
An absconder, booked in a rape case, has been arrested after 14 years in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, police said.
The absconder, identified as Abdul Gani of Dhara, was booked under section 376 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) (rape) and 452 RPC (House-trespass), a police official said.
In another case, police arrested Mohd Saleem alais Gulshan of Bharat village in Doda, who was booked under 188 RPC (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) in 2017, he said.
