He was 79.
He had represented Andhra University, Benaras University and Patna University in the All India Inter University tournaments for Rohinton Baria Trophy in his college days.
He was serving as Secretary of Vizianagaram Cricket Club and Organising Secretary of Vizianagaram District Cricket Association till he breathed his last.
He also served as the Chairman and Member of various Selection Committees of Andhra Cricket Association.
