Aditi Ashok, brining in her first under-par round as a professional, survived the 54-hole cut at the Oates Victorian Open here today.
The 17-year-old Aditi, who is making her pro debut this week, carded two-under 71 in highly windy conditions at the Beach Course after rounds of 74 and 77 on first two days.
At this event, there are two cuts, once after 36 holes and another after 54 holes.
Aditi is now placed tied 30th, as the top-30 and ties made the second cut, which came after 54 holes.
She had five birdies and three bogeys in her round.
Meanwhile, India's other challenger, Vani Kapoor, who came through 36-hole cut, shot an even par 73 and missed the next cut.
England's Georgia Hall will take a two lead over defending champion Marianne Skarpnord into the final round after shooting a third round two under par 71.
Hall started the day at seven-under par, one shot ahead of young Danish star Nanna Madsen and four ahead of the defending champion Skarpnord.
On an afternoon where the north-east wind gusted at times up to around 30km per hour, the overnight leader was off to a steady if unspectacular start making the turn in even par.
Hall made birdies at both 10 and 11, two of the tougher holes on the Beach course, and another at the last to sign for a 2 under par 71. Hall finished with a birdie at the 18th hole.
Tournament favourite Karrie Webb had tournament organisers on edge this morning after three-putting her opening two holes before playing flawless golf from there in shoot a third round three-under par 70 and finish at two-over and in a tie for 27th place, which ensured that Webb would make the 54 hole cut to 35 players.
But world no. 1, Laura Davies could not make up the extra ground needed to qualify.
