"India is going through a great transition. We are going through a great economic transition, we are going through a great transition in agriculture, we are going through a great transition in education, we are going through a great transition in the way groups are coming together.

"Also, the civil society is beginning to question the very system we have been following according to our Constitution from so many decades. They are beginning to question that," Dikshit said at the NCC Republic Day parade camp in Delhi Cantonment.

She said the youth should adopt a constructive approach as civil society has started questioning the established, age-old systems.

"The young boys and girls must be ready to take on the mantle of the nation. The youth should come together to make our future better," she said.

During her address, the Chief Minister also lauded the efforts of National Cadet Corps in bringing about change in the youth profile of the nation by its untiring effort and dedication.

As many as 2,004 cadets, both boys and girls drawn from 17 NCC Directorates, covering all the states and Union Territories are participating in this camp that culminates on January 28.
