Adult deer rescued from villager's house
The deer had strayed out of Orang and swam across the shallow Brahmaputra to Doloi Gaon under Moirabari police station of Morigaon.
The deer appeared in the compund of one Safiqul Islam's house who informed the police.
The locals handed over the deer to Morigaon forest range office, they added.
