The non-profit spiritual organisation had obtained permission to conduct yoga classes for the court staff which was opposed by some advocates claiming that a criminal case was pending in the court against the foundation, sources said.
In the evening, when the classes were about to start in the additional library hall of the court buildings, some advocates opposed the conduct of yoga classes stating that India is a secular state and the proposed classes are in the style of promoting Hindu religion which cannot be allowed.
