However, early morning fog disrupted train and flight operations with a total of 30 flights and 87 trains, including premier trains like Rajdhani and Duronto, being delayed.
Recorded at 100-m at 5.30 A.M., visibility improved considerably to 1,600-m at 5.30 P.M., a weather official said.
The minimum also rose significantly and was recorded a notch above the season's average at 8.2 degrees.
The maximum and minimum yesterday in the national capital had stood at 19 and 5.8 degrees, respectively.
"The minimum temperature will continue to hover around 20 degrees while the minimum is expected to settle at 7 degrees," said a weather official.
