Ahmednagar Mayor Sangram Jagtap steps down

NCP MLA Sangram Jagtap today resigned from the post of Mayor of Ahmednagar city.
When contacted, Jagtap said he was satisfied with his two tenures as the city mayor.
However, there is a growing unrest in local unit of his party over his holding of two posts--as an MLA and as Mayor.
Jagtap forwarded his resignation letter to municipal commissioner Vijay Kulkarni.
