They filed the case under section IPC 500 (punishment for defamation), IPC 501 (printing or engraving matter known to be defamatory) and IPC 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) against NOIDA-based news channel's Managing Director, Managing Editor, Editor-in-Chief and Editor-Director.
