Ajith Haridas-Vijay Lancy wins world title

: Indian duo of Ajith Haridas and Vijay Lancy won the men's doubles 40-plus title in the Yonex BWF World Senior Badminton Championship held at Katowice, Poland.

In the final played on Sunday, Haridas and Lancy defeated the Danish pair of Esben Kaempegaard and Morten Rasmussen 19-21, 21-17, 21-19, according to information received here.

The Chennai duo, members of the famed Madras Cricket Club, had in the earlier round beaten Xavier Engrand and Jerome Krawcyzk of France 21-13, 18-21, 21-8.
