Taking serious note of media reports into an incident of a pregnant woman being denied medical aid in the King George's Medical University (KGMU) here, the CM said "doctors should reach the spot where they have been sent on duty and impart it properly ".
"There are some doctors who have wrong pride over everything...On their contacts...They have no regard for law or constitution as their contacts are very strong. They have acquaintances among big people but I think that it is the law which runs the state and we are bound by the constitution," he said.
Yadav also warned of action on doctors showing negligence in their duties.
The chief minister also observed a two minute silence over loss of lives in Nepal earthquake.
