Akhilesh said that all measures for energy conservation including use LED bulbs should be taken.
He also directed to ensure LED based streetlights in Aligarh.
The CM has directed all the power companies to expedite the distribution of LED bulbs to the consumers and to provide them at cheap rates, the spokesman said.
The directives were issued during a meeting with Managing Director of a public sector enterprise Energy Efficiency Services, Saurabh Kumar.
