Chando, 28, will be portraying the role of Pearl, the late ex-wife wife of show's protagonist Floyd, played by actor Andrew J West, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Pearl, described as a "sweet, funny and a perfect match for Floyd", helps him move on with his life following her death.
"Dead People" centres its story on Floyd, a down-on-his-luck, semi-alcoholic but roguishly charming cab driver who, after a near-death experience, suddenly has the ability to interact with ghosts, including his late ex-wife who he has never gotten over.
