The 38-year-old actress picked up the gong for the portrayal of her lesbian character, Ruby Haswell, reported Daily Mirror.
The ceremony celebrates those who have made a positive impact on the lives of lesbian, gay and bisexual people in the past 12 months.
Taking to Twitter to acknowledge her win, Eyo said, "Thank you all for your messages of support, Still totally overwhelmed! What a night. Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees."
