Amazon delivered 200 Xbox One units within day of launch

Within a day after the much- awaited launch of Microsoft's gaming console Xbox One last evening, Amazon today said it has delivered 200 units which were booked pre-launch.
Microsoft has exclusively tied up with Amazon for its delivery in the country and the first console was delivered to a Mumbai customer last night itself.
The midnight deliveries also happened in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Nagpur who had pre-booked the console.
Amazon further said it will deliver and fulfill hundreds of pending pre-orders from across 35 cities (top 8 cities and other tier-2 cities) today itself.
Launching the new-age entertainment console, Microsoft India country general manager for consumer channels group Chakrapani Gollapali said, "With the Xbox One launch gaming will witness a new pace of growth and given our lineup of games, we shall give our fans many reasons to love being on the Xbox platform.

"We are also equally committed to create unprecedented entertainment experiences that are unparallelled in the console industry in India and leading with localised content. We are happy to announce three new apps on our platform; Bigflix, Gaana and Hungama, with a wide genre of Indian movie and music content."
Xbox One, which is Microsoft's premier entertainment brand for the TV, phone, PC and tablet, brings some of the best, exclusive games line-up including Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome among others.
