Co-creator of the show, Ryan Murphy said familiar characters will make a comeback on the season, which is called "American Horror Story: Hotel", reported Entertainment Weekly.
"The Normal Heart" actor Matt Bomer will be the new addition and will play Donovan while Sarah Paulson will return to the series as Hypodermic Sally.
Murphy, 49, revealed singing sensation Lady Gaga, who will star on the new season, will play an evil character.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" is set to premiere in October this year.
