The bureaucrats, who met Thakur here to extend their "moral support" to him in his "fight for justice", were confident that the police officer would emerge "victorious".
"Well-known crusader bureaucrats Ashok Khemka (IAS), Haryana and Sanjiv Chaturvedi (IFS) presently working in AIIMS, called up Amitabh saying that they extend their moral support in this fight for justice," Amitabh's wife Nutan Thakur said.
The Inspector General-rank officer said that these words from the finest officers have bolstered his morale in his fight for justice.
Meanwhile, Thakur and his wife Nutan Thakur today went to the office of Gomti Nagar Circle Officer Satyasen Yadav and gave an 11-page application, claiming that the rape case was "fabricated".
In their application, they claimed that the case was part of a "larger conspiracy and the Mining minister, SCW Chairman Zarina Usmani and member Ashok Pandey and a few policemen were involved in this conspiracy, who are using this woman as a puppet".
They also mentioned SSI Gomtinagar Ramraj Kushwaha's report dated May 21 given to CJM Court Lucknow, which they said mentioned that the location of woman's mobile numbers were not found to be in Gomtinagar area but at Naka Hindola and Charbagh.
Chaturvedi is an Indian Forest Service officer. He is currently the deputy secretary of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Khemka is known for cancelling the mutation of Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra's alleged illegal land deal in Gurgaon.
Thakur had stirred a political storm by releasing text and audio of the conversation purportedly carrying SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's voice.
The officer alleged that Yadav threatened him after his wife Nutan filed a complaint before the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta against the Uttar Pradesh Mines minister Prajapati.
