The city today recorded a 6.2-mm rainfall, the MeT department said.
The maximum temperature recorded today was at 30.3 degrees Celsius, which was four notches below normal.
The minimum temperature recorded was at 25.1 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal.
Moderate rainfall lashed the city in the afternoon causing traffic snarls in several areas.
The rainfall pushed humidity levels upwards, which oscillated between 74 and 92 per cent.
