Anti-CAA protests: Court grants bail to four accused of violence

Four people held in connection with the violence that took place during anti-citizenship law protests in the city on December 20 have been granted bail.

District Sessions Judge Sanjay Kumar Pachori allowed the bail plea of the four accused and ordered that they may be released after furnishing sureties of Rs 1 lakh each.

The police had booked 258 people and arrested 85 for the violence during protests against the amended citizenship law.
