Based on specific information, the DRI yesterday intercepted a heavy goods vehicle near Atchutapuram and found the ganja during a search, the agency said in a release.
The cannabis was packed and concealed in the middle of the cargo space and the vehicle was destined to Dehradun, it said.
According to DRI, three persons were detained in connection with the illegal transport of cannabis.
The value of the seized ganja in the grey market is estimated at Rs 1.21 crore.
