AP CM inaugurates Celkon Mobile manufacturing facility

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has today inaugurated the Celkon Mobile devices manufacturing facility close to International Airport in Renigunta, 15 Km from here.
The facility has been constructed on 22 acres of land at a cost of Rs 150 crore.
Speaking on the occasion Naidu said the state government has launched a special industrial policy to attract investments and create lakhs of jobs for unemployed youth.
Under the policy investors would be provided the best infrastructure facilities with abundant land, power and water, he said, adding that government has already inked an MoU with 1,569 companies, of which as many as 813 had started works that are at different stages.
The companies would invest Rs 2.75 lakh crore in the state and provide over six lakh jobs to the unemployed, he said.
Naidu said his government which was now producing quality power has no plan to hike power tariff and instead making efforts even to reduce the tariff, he said
Celkon mobile Chairman and Managing director Y Guru, Executive Director Murali Retineni and Indian Cellular National President Pankaj Mahindroo, state Ministers Nara Lokesh and N Amaranath Reddy also spoke.
