"The state government is preparing a new industrial policy for the development of industries which includes infotech sector related industries," he said at the IT Conclave 2015 held in Kakinada, near here today.
The AP state government is making efforts to develop infotech companies in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati cities, Kumar said.
The IT conclave was sponsored by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and Godavari Information Technology Association (GITA).
