"The decision to this effect was taken at a high level meeting and we will suggest alternative venue to the officials, if the present venue is not approved," YSRC leader Botsa Satyanarayana said here today.
Reddy planned to hold the fast in Guntur from today, but the administration denied permission for it.
"The officials have said that the venue is not suitable for the indefinite fast and our party delegation will be meeting them showing alternative venues for approval as our interest is the development of the state which can be attained only through special status," Satyanarayana said.
