Armed men loot Rs 14 lakh

Five unidentified men looted cash Rs 14.6 lakh from livestock traders who were on their way to Shamli, police said today.
Khalid, Naeem, Arshad, Islam were waylaid at gun-point today morning at Jauli-Muzaffarnagar road near Bilaspur village under New Mandi police station here, they added.
They were on their way to Shamli from Jauli village to purchase livestocks.
The armed men came in a car and stopped their vehicle and looted them at gunpoint.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving the information, they said. Efforts are on to apprehend them, they added.
