At a programme in Salon area of the district, Sisodia said people of Amethi had been kept away from even the most basic amenities in the last ten years and appealed to the voters to defeat the Congress vice president from this Nehru-Gandhi bastion.
When asked who were the key opponents of AAP in Amethi, Sisodia said, "It is Rahul Gandhi."

Accompanied by several senior party activists including Viplav Awasthi, Sisodia said, "This time the broom will wash away the dirty politics in Amethi.
