Army commander briefs J&K Governor on security situation

Army commander of 9 Corps Lt Gen S K Saini today called on Governor N N Vohra and briefed him about the security situation in the area of responsibility of his command in Himachal Pradesh and part of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Governor discussed with Lt Gen Saini various issues relating to the continuing attempts at infiltration from across the International Border along the Kathua, Samba and Jammu districts and the need for strengthening the Counter-Infiltration Grid, a Raj Bhawan spokesman said.
