Stating six persons were arrested till this date in connection with Friday's incident, Officer-in-charge of Raneshwar Police Station Manoj Kumar said Kano Marandi, an army jawan posted at Jammu and Kashmir, and his youger brother Budhilal Marandi, a police havildar posted at Murar police station in Sheikhpura district of Bihar, were beaten to death following arguments during their visit to a relative's place.
The duo had gone to their native place on vacation, the officer said adding the eyewitnesses claimed the brothers were in an inebriated state and misbehaved with the relatives during heated argument over a long-standing land dispute on Friday evening.
